Surprise, surprise!  French fries are not going to provide your child with great performance and endurance on game day.  However, there are specific foods that will!

Sugar isn’t the answer.  Sugar rushes are only temporary and then, there really is a crash that robs your body of optimal performance.  Once the body regulates the rush of sugar, the high is over.  In fact, most times, the body adjusts enough to just about REVERSE the “rush.”  Not good!

Help your child avoid feeling tired and show.  Effectively increase energy on game day by choosing the “right foods” to eat before the game.  Let me tell you, “Monster” and “Red Bull” are NOT the answer.
